Presumptive Diseases
and the VA

If, as Senator Rockefeller says in his letter to President Clinton (click on link below) that the VA secretary can make diseases presumptive, then why doesn't President Clinton agree? What can possibly hold him back? Prostate, colon, lung and brain cancer etc. are caused by ionizing radiation and the VA knows it. The president is the boss of the VA and he can order Tongo West to do it. But will he? Some veterans are asking for a class action law suit. Why not? Besides, we deserve the same consideration as the nuclear plant workers.

We are saddened about the suffering of the Los Alamos families who lost their homes but we are even more concerned about the possibility that these victims and many others downwind may also be inhaling alpha particles (Plutonium-239, Strontium-90, Cesium-137, and Iodine-131) released by the fire.
